The animation film made by Lacadarte is based on the book of the same name by Fabio Geda and tells the true story of Enaiatollah Akbari, the child who fled from Afghanistan and, after a long odyssey, arrived in Italy where he now lives.

“The key to making the film – explains director Vitellaro – was the transfiguration of what Enaiatollah sees, as he sees it: a foreign world that he does not recognize, as he does not recognize the language, but through kindness he is able to recognize the face of the people who talk to him.
