The film follows the adventures of Sonic in his attempts to overcome the difficulties of life on Earth, together with his new friend, Tom Wachowski (James Marsden). Sonic and Tom join forces to stop the evil Dr. Robotnik (Jim Carrey), who wants to capture Sonic and use his superpowers to dominate the world. Sonic the Hedgehog is a live-action comedy based on the blockbuster video game series created by Sega, and which has the legendary super-fast hedgehog as its protagonist.
Sonic is generated on the computer, but fits perfectly in the real world, alongside with famous actors.
