
Mark Schlichter

Director Mark Schlichter was born the 15th December 1962 in Münster, Germany. Before he started his directing studies at the German Film Academy Berlin (DFFB), he attended drama school and worked as an actor in theatre and film productions. Parallel to his studies at the Film Academy, he did work both as floor and production manager for various film and TV productions (e.g. production manager for J.L. Godard’s ALLEMAGNE NEUF ZERO).
For his first length feature film EX, he received the Director’s Award of the Hypo-Bank in 1995 at the Film Festival Munich as well as the Special Award of the German Academy of Performing Arts for exceptional first work in 1996. His short films “Felix”, “Spieglein, Spieglein” and “Amok” have been presented on film festivals around the world like the Chicago Int. Film Festival and Toyko Student Film Festival. This was followed by numerous TV- and cinema productions, in which he partly contributed as a scriptwriter.
“ALFONS JITTERBIT – COUNTDOWN TO CHAOS” is his first feature film for children.

Nicole Kellerhals

Born 1964 in Berlin. Studied German, French and Italian literature and history of art. 1993 – 1996 commissioning editor MDR, Film and TV. Since Mai 1997 working as a dramatic advisor for X-Filme Creative Pool GmbH, developing the projects of Dani Levy (“The Kangoroo Chronicles”, „Go for Zucker“), Tom Tykwer („Babylon Berlin“, „Cloud Atlas“, „Run Lola Run“), Wolfgang Becker („Me and Kaminski“, „Goodbye Lenin“), Michael Haneke („The white ribbon“, „Amour“), Maria Schrader (“Vor der Morgenröte”) and others.
Since 2005 also focused on children’s film. Worked on several adaptions of children’s books like „Max Minsky and I“ (Anna Justice-director); „The Three Robbers“ (Tomi Ungerer), „Hanni & Nanni“, “Molly Monster” and recently „Alfons Jitterbit – Countdown to Chaos“, released in 2019.

2001-2006 jury member of the Film peace award at the BERLINALE.
2006-2011- Feature film mentor at the Akademie für Kindermedien, Erfurt.
Since 2010 Board member of the Association of german children’s movies (Förderverein Deutscher Kinderfilm).
Script Consultant for Filmhaus Babelsberg, Hamburg Media School, Nipkow Program, Focal Suisse and Berlinale Residency.
Since 2017 Professorship for screenwriting at the Filmuniversität Babelsberg, Potsdam.

Marta Karwowska

Marta Karwowska – born November 24th, 1979 in Warsaw.
Director, screenwriter and sociologist, a graduate of the Directing Department of the Łódź Film School and the Institute of Sociology of the University of Warsaw.
During her studies, she made over a dozen short student films, both fictional and documentary, based on her own scripts, including the festival acclaimed Owl.
She has directed children’s plays, videos for social campaigns (for the Ministry of Regional Development and the Forum of Polish Non-Governmental Organizations’ Initiatives) and a children’s film Gluśfilmowiec (Gluś, the Filmmaker) based on a story by Maciej Wojtyszko.
She was a second unit director and assistant for Jan Jakub Kolski while he was making Venice. She was a casting director of Grzegorz Jaroszuk’s feature debut Kebab & Horoscope.
Moreover, she received a scholarship from the Minister of Culture (Young Poland 2014). Her directorial debut Double Trouble attracted more than 320 000 viewers to the Polish cinemas and was screened at film festivals all around the world.
Triple Trouble is her second feature fiction film.

Zareva Vessela
Bulgaria

Vessela Zareva is a well known Bulgarian film maker.
She graduated from PSWFiT (Lodz, Poland) and from VGIK (Moscow, Russia) specializing in Film directing.
Her filmography consists of more than 50 documentary films, some of which have been selected in numerous International and National Film Festivals, winning a number of prizes.
Vessela Zareva is a member of the Bulgarian Union of Film Makers.
